Spool for macOS: two builds

Spool for macOS comes in two builds: the main version for newer Macs, and Spool Legacy for older ones. One licence key works for both.

Spool Legacy

A separate build for Macs that cannot go past macOS 10.15 Catalina, and for Macs with little memory. Choose this one only if the current version does not run on your Mac.

Which one do I need?

Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. If it says macOS 11 or later, use Spool for macOS. If it says 10.15 Catalina, use Spool Legacy.

On Catalina

Install every available system update first, so Safari is at version 15.6. Spool draws its windows with the Safari engine, and Catalina's engine only reaches that version through updates.

Licence

Buy Spool for macOS once and use the same key in either version. Spool Legacy is a separate app with a separate library, so you can have both installed.
